Disneyland Paris Guests Will Be Impacted by France’s Mandatory “Health Pass”

Future Disneyland Paris Guests will soon need to abide by France’s new Health Pass conditions.

Disneyland ParisIn an announcement by French President, Emmanuel Macron on Monday, July 21 will see a new set of restrictions implemented throughout the country.

A new “Health Pass” that shows proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a recent (within 48 hours), negative Covid test or proof of infection in between 2 weeks and 6 months old will soon be mandatory if anyone 12 or older wants to access public places and events.

Currently this will apply to events with over 50 people in attendance but the rules may become tighter still in the future if the Delta variant continues to infect at the current high numbers.

President Macron television address“Get vaccinated!” the president said in a live address to the nation. His words were heard, with record numbers of French citizens- 926,000 – booking their vaccine shots on Monday afternoon.

Macron  calls the Health Pass “our collective shield.” And has said it is “the only path to return to normal life.” The Health Pass be required for visits to cafes, bars, shopping centers, amusement park, shows, concert and festivals.

Disneyland Paris made an announcement regarding the new mandate on Tuesday saying, “The French President Macron recently addressed the nation to unveil new measures meant to mitigate the spread of Covid across the country.

Among these measures, he confirmed that a sanitary pass will be required as of July 21st for all leisure and cultural locations gathering more than 50 people. We remain open and our flexible commercial conditions continue to apply. We will adjust our operations to comply with the new measures and provide more updates as soon as possible.
